Ingrebourne Valley

This short, family-friendly ride links Ingrebourne Hill and Upminster park, via the Ingrebourne Valley and Hornchurch Country Park.

Ingrebourne Hill has around five miles of walking, cycling and horse-riding trails, as well as a picnic site and two play areas.

Catering for cyclists of all abilities, there are leisurely routes as well as mountain bike trails.

From there, the route follows the Ingrebourne River north and is almost entirely traffic-free all the way to Upminster.

As you approach the towns of Hornchurch and Upminster on the route, stay on the riverside until you reach Hornchurch stadium, where you then turn right towards Brookdale Avenue and Upminster Park.
